Has anyone else been feeling badly for her? It seems like John Mulaney cheated on her. Such a bummer because I really like his standup, but I hate cheating even more.

I don’t feel sorry for her. She married a drug addict. What did she expect?

Agree. People do not know what goes on in a marriage. There are three sides to every marriage, her side, his side, and the truth.

As someone who had an affair and divorced (no kids), people have no clue and honestly it’s none of their business. My affair was the best thing that ever happened to me! We have been married for 25 years. I have been so much happier, my career took off, and we have two wonderful kids. I would have never had any of this with my XH.

This seemed like a toxic relationship. I think they will both be healthier apart.

She I'm sure used the connection to Mulvaney to sell the essay to Elle. What is wrong with that? Is there a rule that if you are married to a celebrity who talks about you in his stand up act for years, and then you get divorced, you are not allowed to mention him or use your connection to him in any way for professional advancement? She doesn't even mention Mulaney in the essay, only talks about what a hard time she had during the divorce.
