CDU/CDU appears to be losing some ground to AfD. They could shift right a bit and consolidate AdF and FDP support.
Fdp is what most dcum posters would vote for in Germany but they have absolutely cratered
DCUM skews to the left, FDP would have few supporters. FDP is more akin to libertarians than Democrats.

Europe has a long history of population migration and cultural mixing. Some instances worked out relatively alright... many did not... just like the rest of the world.
The US is not a country of immigrants. Historically the vast majority of Americans were born Americans. We are approaching the peak levels of foreign born in the late 19th century, about 15%.

Do that and the policies espoused by afd will be amplified and spread even wider

Why do all these articles about declining population always focus on creating policies to increase migration as the only solution?
Because the other choices:
1. Reduced consumption
2. Boosting native childbirth
Are politically virtually impossible
1. Voluntary degrowth is fine on a personal level (I willingly do it β cycle/walk to the store vs car even though it takes longer or use cold showers daily even in the winter or never really use air conditioning) β but western people as a whole donβt want to accept this
2. Native childbirth boosting policy outside of israel is impossible β even right wing scholars like Lyman stone β concede the cost in public support to induce additional births is extremely high.
Israel makes it work because: 1. Jews are the chosen people
2. Per capita consumption in Israel is still way lower than the us β even most American Jews would struggle to shift their current consumption habits to fit Israeli levels

So they want warm relationships with every other nation, in an apparent total lack of understanding of how international relations works. They truly don't get that if they operate outside a western construct, they cease to be part of the West. Trump was right to try to make them commit financially to NATO and to get them to rethink their energy deals with Russia. At the time, the American left criticized Trump for this, reflexively. I think that made Germans dig in on the idea that they can play both ends against the middle, as AfD seeks to do. This will not result in more independence for Germany. It will result in a more Eastern style Germany.
