We’ve had ours about five years and have only had a couple minor issues. The tech came to our house to fix them and it was a pretty simple process. Much easier and cheaper than taking something to the dealer. And no oil changes. They generally require less maintenance and the tech updates generally come via remote download that happens automatically overnight.

Nope! Won’t stop. Douches are, like Musk, a waste of of resources and we’d all be better off without them. Like Musk, their appeal is mainly to the ignorant and gullible who don’t understand their real effect.
Love,
A women’s college graduate and women’s health advocate, who feels very sure that Elon Musk is a grade A douchebag with excursions into douchenozzlehood and whose vehicle is pure douchecanoe

Prob has to do with where the car is made. There are certain levels that must be manufactured in the USA to be eligible for the full credit. For Tesla and most ev makers, the hardest part is meeting the manufacturing requirements for the batteries. I guess Tesla figured it out and now has a certain % of the battery made in the US. Tesla is so far ahead of all companies for their batteries. This is a game changer for Tesla, and we will see many more on the road now.
