Look at all the DAS and PDAS folks at State. Very few of them have Ivy League degrees.

I don’t think your cousin needs to worry, the 24 yo with the masters and fed job will decide if your cousin fits in with their plan (and they might decide a dentist does not have high enough potential for them).

Someone posting this question seems to have followed some sort of plan and if they are asking about next steps, maybe they should try a bit of navel-gazing and figure out what they WANT and not just another goal to shoot for.
