Ultimately nothing firmly citable... just interesting, and may not pan out. With air defense drills not scheduled until tomorrow, some reports claim a plane also crashed (not the sound) but that the sonic boom was from a plane in pursuit of the crashed plane.

No, journalists typically aren’t in the business of saying something happened, we don’t know what. Also, the news media isn’t social media — there are editors and processes to publish something.

I think it was about 3:10 here in West Springfield. So it may have happened North to South.

Just after 3. I started get texts from others asking if I heard it at 3:10. So just before that.
