Body count can be lied about easily.

How many people one killed? What?!

How many people you slept with.

I am 42, 5' 8 3/4 but put 5' 9". I am attractive look like keanu shaved, and I don't mention I make 450k/year. Maybe my height should be more exaggerated and the fact I don't broadcast my income? Would that pull in more sought after women?

When I matched with the 5'3" guy on Bumble he *said* he was 5'7" and then when we went on our first date we were the same height. Actually I was slightly taller because I was in heels. He had a great personality so I asked him about it a few dates later and he was like, yeah most women won't date under 5'7" so I lie. I found that kind of sleazy.

And fwiw, we dated for several months and I thought he was really sexy, but I don't care about height and if I did, the lying would've totally turned me off.

Thank god this is an anonymous website or you'd have tiny men all over the DC area blowing you up w/ DMs after this.

I think if you are 5'9 and you say you are 5'10, that is ok. But if you are 5'3, and say you are 5'7, that's too much of a difference. It's a flat out lie rather than an exaggeration.

Oh totally. He insisted it was only because 5'7" seems to be the minimum 90% of women will accept (and I agree, because none of my friends could figure out why I was dating a guy literally the same height as me - I was like you guys, I promise, he is so sexy and smart and funny and great in bed and they were like...yeah but you are the same size lmfao. The height thing instantly eliminated him as boyfriend and ultimately husband material). I was like okay...sure, but if that's the minimum height they will accept and then you show up FOUR INCHES SHORTER...you're probably not getting a second date, right? So it doesn't really work for you, does it?

I'm a woman, probably closer to 4'11" than 5'. What if I said I was 5'3" on my dating app? Would these men be ok with that? I'm thinking not. Most men don't want to date someone as short as me.

My neighbor and uncle have terrible short man syndrome. And yes, it is a proven thing. Stay away from these “men.”

+1 ding ding ding.

There you go.

Just as a man swipes left when they see a not attractive woman, some women will swipe left if they see your profile indicating you are under a certain height.

Because everyone has some standards. If you think height is a shallow standard, don't date them. Easy.

Because that can be fixed.

It doesn’t need to be fixed nor does height, though parents will give their boys drugs to grow taller.

What drugs are you talking about? No such thing apart from what a physician prescribed for medical purpose.
