I have a left-handed can opener. I'm the only lefty in the house. The "normal" one is banged to pieces, DH and kids are always losing it, etc.

Mine, though? My lovely, amazing can opener that nobody in my house can seem to figure out how to use but me?

Mine is in perfect condition, I always know exactly where it is, and it opens my cans without me having to awkwardly use my non dominant hand.

My life is complete.

I agree with this. Mine died and I’ve been trying to do with the stovetop version but it’s just not as convenient

Get a new one! They come in cute colors now, too. If mine dies I'm getting a new one asap

Apple slicer. We eat a lot of apples in our house, and did you know that kids just cannot bite into apples with wiggly teeth?

Egg slicer. Love how there are two sets of wires - one to slice from the side and one from the top.

What does it do that a fork can’t? I’m genuinely curious.

I grew up using a fork but then I had a kid who won't eat visible whites (like white streaks). Egg beater gets everything completely blended, quickly.

Tofu press. Changes what I can do with a brick of tofu.
