Today is planting time for plants that do not do well with the cold - like nightshade veggies or herbs like basil. Cruciferous veggies, peas and others should have already been planted. Asparagus season is over already in my patch.

I would concentrate on growing things I buy. If you buy flowers grow flowers so you don’t have to spend. If you like vegetables, grow vegetables. I find, I have the most savings with herbs. What herbs do you use every week- grow those.

Then you can see how good you are at gardening and if it would be worth it to expand to be able to sell something.

How much sun and how much shade do you have?

I used to work with somebody who had all these Pie In The Sky ideas that made no sense for the actual situation.
Every silly idea was DOA so we didn’t bother responding.

How about making it a wedding venue? Install a gazebo for the band and for pictures, buy all the chairs and tables, etc., so the couple wouldn’t need to rent. Create picture worthy areas with flowering archways and flowering shrubs.

Or

Make it a winter wonderland with holiday decorations, ice sculptures, charge a fee. Or a Halloween-themed tour.

You should just focus on doing what it takes to advance in your career to make more money; the "side hustle" concept if faulty--no one has every found a good way "just to make a little money on the side"

Friend doing this. He sells stuff like flowers, eggs and vegetables from his garden. Not sure how much money he really makes but he loves doing it. He also pickles vegetables and makes wine.
