That’s not accurate. It’s not a complete protein but it is protein. Just like plant protein isn’t always complete protein.

I’m vegetarian and avoid eggs. Tofu is my go-to for protein. Occasionally I’ll eat yogurt or cottage cheese if I’m feeling depleted. Not a big bean or lentil fan, but eat them at least once/week.
