50-60 hours a week, occasional slow periods where it's 30 hours, occasional manic periods where it's 70-80. I make 165K, wish I could either make more or work less but I do like the work at least.

Salary?

$74K.
I’m likely quitting at the end of the year. I love working with the students and I’m really good at it, but I can’t keep up with the pace. It’s too emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausting.

Fed at almost 200k. 40-45 hours mostly remote. We have production requirements and metrics and I’m considered one of the top performers.

Fed, in a highly specialized technical field. Probably around 50hr/wk and travel several weeks a year. Earning $183K and it feels like a lot of work for that. Oh, and since the pandemic it’s mostly WFH.

Fed attorney. 30 is probably the norm, obviously much much higher when the litigation schedule demands it, but often lower as well. I could probably get away with less if I didn’t care about doing a good job.

I’m in tech. Did my own consulting for many years, now work for a large company. I work 40-59 hours per week, and I seem to be the only one on my team doing any work at all. I’ve been WFH for 20 years, but I’ve never experienced the kind of slacking that I’m seeing now. I just don’t understand how people take a paycheck and don’t work. I’ve recently decided to work to get everyone on my team fired. First one was easy. He’s gone. Working on #2 now.

I am an academic. During the year I am teaching for 10 hours a week, planning and grading for between 2-6 hours a week, attending meetings probably 6-10 hours per week, and maybe another 6-10 on various research, committee tasks, and other duties. Sometimes (end of semesters, special events) I have events to attend which can be up to 8 hours per week if I have two evening events.

Flexible schedule, WFH a good deal, can almost always drive carpool and stuff like that. But I am always thinking about work and always firing off short emails and troubleshooting at nights and on the weekends. I don't mind because it doesn't stop me from living my life or making plans and it's a good trade off.

Closer to 20 on a lighter week (rare) and over 40 on busier weeks. I average about 30 I'd say.
