PP’s post is gross but there might be some legitimate issues raised - he wasn’t paying her. That’s one of the reasons for the lawsuit.

The $2 million for a pardon offer was reported by the NYT back in 2021.

John Kiriakou, the former CIA operative, was sentenced to 30 months in prison in 2012 for disclosing the identity of a fellow officer involved in waterboarding. Kiriakou told The Times that he had sought a pardon through other people with connections to the president — in order to carry a handgun and access his pension — but that the topic came up during an unrelated boozy meeting with Giuliani and his associates at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC.

Kiriakou told The Times that at one point, when Giuliani went to the restroom, one of the meeting attendees said that Giuliani could help but that "it's going to cost $2 million — he's going to want two million bucks."

"I laughed. Two million bucks — are you out of your mind?" Kiriakou told the outlet. "Even if I had two million bucks, I wouldn't spend it to recover a $700,000 pension."

The speculation is that the Giuliani associate who said Rudy would get him a a pardon for 2 million bucks was Lev Parnas.

Attorney-client privilege does not count if a crime is committed. Read the link above. It's the entire 70-page lawsuit and it only took me about 20 minutes to read, with interruptions. It points out where she has tapes of a conversation. She even taped a statement by Rudy allowing her to tape all their business. She has a tape of him saying he and Trump sold pardons for $2 million. Also, NY is a one-party consent to record state. She has tapes of sexual activity. Pro tip for bosses: sex with an employee is not considered consensual. Nothing in his language suggests it's consensual or that there's any affection or attraction on her part. She also has him on tape repeatedly saying he's hiding money from the wife he's divorcing. Big trouble.

Interesting that Rudy and Trump were already planning to proclaim the election was rigged if Trump lost - a year before the election.

Okay, combining the information in this post and the one before it helps me understand. If Rudy had talked about just Trump selling pardons, it might have been covered by attorney-client privilege.

However, if Rudy was advancing a joint criminal enterprise (them selling pardons together), the privilege does not apply.
