He has schizophrenia - jail isn’t the right place for that. But we have gone too far with Deinstitutionalization for this guy to be in the care of an aging father. Word is the father was trying to get him into a facility.

+1 Had a cousin with same diagnosis. Family had a terrible time getting care for her and help. The law is not on your side in this.
However, MSN reports that he is also being charged with a "hate crime."
