As parts of Loudoun age, it will have more poorer schools. But maybe the best argument for LCPS is that its decline won't be noticeable because it was never that good to begin with.

Because you can do what you want and have no supervisions. The horror stories I can tell about subs in LCPS...

It’s because the kids are better behaved by far. There is little supervision in either district. Sign-in go to the room, sub, and sign out. What type of supervision do you think occurs?

In Virginia, the Fair Housing Office. But also HUD and the Real Estate Board in Virginia. The agent’s broker would probably fire the agent if they knew what was said because of the legal hellscape they just exposed the broker to.

One of the previous superintendents was shocked by the lack of relevant experience people had in the administration. They do not have more resources and better amenities. You are full of it. They do not have better outcomes. All the high schools tend to have lower sat/act scores without Farms families.

Plenty of farms families in Loudoun, particularly western Loudoun. It’s literally all farms except a few towns.

Oh, wait, did you mean to say FCPS has better outcomes once you don’t count the poors and browns? (Fixed stare, anticipating your reply…)

We have seen something similar at our school. I really wonder what everyone, the school board, the administration at Gatehouse, the school administrators, are thinking.

The teachers are better. Special ed, even though it isn't perfect, is much better.

One of the criteria is serving low socio-economic populations which is so much higher in FCPS.

That must be why TJ, Langley, McLean, and Marshall are the top four in the state.

LCPS students attend TJ.

LCPS also has the academies.

Moved to Fairfax County about 20 years ago, primarily for the schools. Had 2 children go through K-12 in Region 3. Like all schools systems kids had some great teachers and some bad teachers. Older child's experience was better, simply because the downward slide had already begun, but hadn't yet picked up to the level of today. Again, poor decisions out of Gatehouse, moving one new teaching fad to the next, the uncanny ability to replace good principals with bad ones, a rubber stamp school board.
