OP,

Call Your Mother, with its color scheme and fun reference, originated next to Georgetown University in DC as a small restaurant/carry out. It's integrated seamlessly into the buildings there and is a huge draw in the neighborhood.

There is a CYM wheelie in Bethesda next to NIH, where it's also very popular. Previously there used to be another food truck, also without bathrooms, so it's entirely what people expect in that location.

The gaily painted CYM is full of charm and whimsy. If you think every place that offers food should also have bathrooms, seating areas with A/C and heat, and parking, you've got another thing coming.

No, the original was in Park View

We like the one in Bethesda. They used to have an Asiago cheese bagel sandwich with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese and fried onions that was amazing. Less amazing is that my DH has not once, but twice, accidentally ordered pickup from there while running with his phone in his pocket. The parking lot is so small I have to go with him to pick up.

The pink food truck looks like Minnie Pearl and Cousin Eddy should be sitting out front.

Strip mall and high end don’t go together.

If you don’t like the food truck, don’t eat there.

OP are you, the lady that was there with her tall husband, both of which who were super hung over/ snippy to each other, letting their toddler/ preschool age, children run all over the place, banging on the sign, etc?

The owner/manager (whoever he was) was talking to everyone in line last weekend and was so nice and excited to be in McLean. He said they are starting out in the food truck to get a gauge for the vibe and popularity in the area. If it works out, they would look for a brick and mortar location. I think it’s brilliant.
