I never eat more than two in a day. I never eat eggs more than three times in a week, so six eggs in a week, max.

However many you want. You may tire of them if you eat more than a dozen a day though.
There are thousands of dishes to use eggs in, and many ways to cook them or even eat them raw, so at least if you get tired of the same ole common methods of preparing them, there are any other ways.

Eggs don’t really cause high cholesterol. My breakfast is 2 whole eggs and 3 egg whites. My cholesterol actually went down.

Average doesn't matter. We have plenty of eggheads to balance the people with goose egg IQ.

I’m a vegetarian and I eat one a day on my days off for breakfast with broccoli and cheese. I work 12s so am off 14 days a month. So 14 eggs a month.
My kid has 1 or 2 for breakfast twice a week ish.

I was going to say there was no limit, but after reading this I will change my answer to "Whatever Michael Phelps eats" as the maximum. I read he eats 3 fried egg sandwiches and a 5 egg omelet for breakfast but I don't know his sandwich recipe so I figure that's probably either 8 or 11 or 14 eggs.

Depends on the person. Is this a 6'7 foot man in his twenties or a 78 year old 5'0 inch woman?

It's not a dumb post if you know anything about the ongoing debate regarding dietary cholesterol. But, I guess you don't.

BUT the question was related to being vegetarian! not whether or not eggs are good for you! Read what OP wrote, it's nonsensical. For real.

You are confusing vegetarian with being vegan. Vegetarians eat eggs and dairy. Vegans eat no animal products.

We all know being a vegetarian is healthier then eating meat. Meat eaters can lie to themselves all they want, buy science will always be correct, no matter how much they lie

Exercise, and don't get fat, and dietary cholesterol will have negligible effect on your life.

Carnivores and herbivores will never find consensus on whether meat and animal products are healthy or poisonous.

It's from not eating enough and lack of protein.

Haha. Thank you! Thanks, everyone, for your replies. I should have definitely been clearer in my post. DD is an ovo-lacto vegetarian, meaning that she eats eggs and dairy and honey, but she does not eat chicken, pork, beef, fish, shrimp, etc. Given that the "normal" dietary guidelines from reputable medical sources recommend 1-2 eggs per day, assuming a "typical" American diet, I made the assumption that perhaps a vegetarian who does not consume meat might have a different set of recommended dietary guidelines, maybe 2-3 eggs/day. Also, given some research showing that dietary cholesterol from eggs does not seem to impact blood cholesterol levels, I thought the higher egg consumption might also be reasonable. It's somewhat unbelievable that given the popularity of vegetarian diets that it's so hard to find clearer guidelines. The upshot seems to be that dietary guidelines are works in progress.
I have also come to the conclusion that while there are a few smart and well-read and well-informed vegetarians on this board--thank you!--there are a number of not-so-informed ones who are amusingly willing to trumpet their ignorance.
