Different Jewish poster. I’m in my thirties. Marrying Jewish was important to me, not because I’m brainwashed, but because living a Jewish lifestyle and practicing Jewish rituals is important to me. I didn’t want to raise kids in multiple faiths, and it’s easier to have that value in common with your spouse. that seems pretty straightforward.
I’m 43 and I wanted to marry a Jewish person. I know, I’m old-ish, but I don’t think that preferring a Jewish spouse has changed much. I know many young people who do, particularly now that antisemitism is only on the rise. It’s been around 50% intermarriage my whole life. People form preferences in partners for many reasons. It’s not up to PP to decide which of them is not reasonable.

In fairness, this show isn't any different from Indian Matchmaking or the plethora of matchmaking shows that came before it. For all these shows, prerequisite for entry is complete stupidity. So I don't think viewers are going to think that it is a Jewish thing but a reality TV thing.
I cannot stand any of these shows BTW because the characters are always bottom of the barrel.
