I'm Jewish, and when I was in my teens and 20's (I'm 51 now) my parents made it very very clear that they would not accept me marrying anyone who isn't jewish. I swore I wouldn't put my own kids under that pressure, and I stick to that, but it's nice to see these youngins who want it for themselves. I also just love seeing all these different versions of Judaism on my tv screen. I do worry though whether non-Jews who are watching are thinking that these people are idiots, and how this will lead to more stereotyping.
You’re ridiculous if you think they “want this for themselves”. They’re just as brainwashed as you are. Signed, another Jew.
Different Jewish poster. I’m in my thirties. Marrying Jewish was important to me, not because I’m brainwashed, but because living a Jewish lifestyle and practicing Jewish rituals is important to me. I didn’t want to raise kids in multiple faiths, and it’s easier to have that value in common with your spouse. that seems pretty straightforward.

Harmonie is interesting, and I’m wondering if she’ll actually settle down. She says she wants to, but I think she likes the party lifestyle too much.
That sounds like a fun show. Jews usually do really well in marriage department. Almost every US president has a jewish son/daughter in-law. Most US jews are well off and good looking so makes sense.
Well that’s just not true. Lol.

He's the worst. He wants a blonde haired, blue eyed (cringe) Hebrew speaking Israeli hottie who lives in and will stay in LA. This has to be a VERY small pool to start with. They also have to want a large family, quickly after getting married.
He's not attractive himself really, is not independently successful, and is unhealthily enmeshed with his mother. He flat out said he would never defer to his wife over his mom (it was about wedding details, but 100% this goes for life in general).
He's delusional about what he brings to the table and what he expects of his prospects.
He is the ultimate SCHMUCK
Lol this is so spot on.
We are only 3 episodes in, but are enjoying it more than Indian Matchmaking

Holy sweeping generalizations, Batman! I'm a US jew who is both poor and ugly.
But I bet you are funny and interesting.
Why? You think ugly poor jews are funny and interesting? I have a personality only a mother could love, and my mother is dead.

No.
It’s terrible and boring
Unfortunately they selected a cast almost entirely without charm or interest.
