Wrong. My MHS kids talk about the embarrassing facilities at MHS frequently, especially the bathrooms. Almost every time we go to another FCPS high school (other than Annadale and Justice), they comment on how nice it is compared to theirs.
that is because they are spoiled Mclean kids.

Who says the teachers are crappy?
All McLean high students need supplemental tutoring or outside school http because teachers are bad, that is why scores are marginal

A bunch of spoiled brats. Send them all to Justice HS.
Exactly. It's optics. They can't renovate both McLean and Langley (the schools with the richest kids in the entire area) and then leave schools with poor kids to rot.
I went to McLean and graduated in 2000. It was renovated after I graduated. Everyone needs to relax. Rich kids don't "deserve" this more than any other kid.

Should this be the priority over all else? I mean cooper and langley are / have gotten major renovations and expansions ?
Mclean high looks like a 3rd work slum school
That area subsidizes the rest of the county.
It's really not everyone else's fault that McLean mommies didn't do their research and were instead just focused on the name of their town. Deal with it or get a job so you can help daddy pay for private school.
Ah, the usual clowns have shown up right on schedule.
People in the district reasonably could have expected FCPS to treat them equitably when it came to school facilities. And the county has been actively encouraging people to move into the district, which includes just under 1/2 of Tysons, for years.
Stop complaining, Mclean Mommy.
