I was paid $20 an hour 15 years ago, but when I took care of two babies from different families at the same time my rate was $30. This was just part-time, not a FT nanny share. It was very easy to take care of one toddler, or a baby and a 2 or 3 year old. The two babies/young toddlers at the same time was challenging. Then I got married and pregnant with twins. Go fig.
