I think people would like it. We did it one year at my school about 10-15 years ago and everyone ate it in the lounge or took it back to their room.

How do you think an ice cream bar would go over with the staff?

You’re nice.

No one wants your f’n ice cream. It’s going to melt. You do realize lunches span 2 hours or more at elem school? What’s your plan for keeping the ice cream frozen? You’re a moron and out of touch with what teachers want.

Teachers want a catered breakfast or lunch and gift cards or cash. And the gift of time.

Go away you sycophant.

I’m not saying they don’t like dessert, but who wants an ice cream bar during lunch?

Me! I do. I want an ice cream bar during lunch.

Teachers: how much are you really looking forward to this? Just curious. You probably get like 15-20 min to eat, so what would you like?

Teachers would not want this at all. Way too many carbs.

The teachers who don't want carbs can have salad. Who are you to speak on behalf of all teachers?

I was a teacher with FCPS for years and am very familiar with what the teachers wanted. I was a recipient of teacher appreciation week for many years. No one wants any food brought in from different families. Catered lunch like Panera is fine. But not a dessert or ice cream bar. Lol. Teachers do not want to build their own tacos either. Many would say they are unhealthy too. They have limited lunch time.

Then skip and say no thank you. Done.

It's one day. If you can't have carbs or sugar one day, that's on you. I'll donate food and if it doesn't get eaten by you, I won't lose any sleep over it.
