Once these things are in place they hardly ever go away. We've started going more to Standford Grill instead of Clydes.

Our experience too in last several dinners. Portions of chicken in the fajita way smaller now (previously more than enough to bring home and have leftovers for days) and the tiniest scoops of cheese/guac/sour cream. Felt like they are more interested in pushing the newest expensive cocktails, and some choc pinata dessert. Used to be our goto place years ago.

I have noticed with Sweetgreen, when i get the chicken pesto salad, it's like all breadcrumbs and no lettuce now. So I guess I agree with that one.

The food quality at the Friendship Heights location went way down so l haven’t been in over 6 months. Used to be a go - to with my son. Some was so bad it felt like it was thawed in a microwave so the texture was off. Like super hard farro in a grain bowl for example. I hope they’ve turned the kitchen back around. Agree with Cheesecake Factory but our kids love it so we still have it from time to time. But it’s so overpriced!

I know it’s another big chain but Chipotle stinks now. They always mess up our order. Every single time. And quality is meh. I refuse to go there.

Unlike above posters, I’ve been getting good salads at Sweetgreen. Maybe it’s location dependent. I go to Pike & Rose or Downtown Crown. For salads, Chopt is the restaurant that really went downhill. I ate it weekly for years and in 2020 we brought in lunch for the entire family weekly. It was a good way to get a pile of veggies into my teens and they loved experimenting with new combos. Now it’s inedible. Brown lettuce, no toppings, chemical tasting dressing.

A poster above also complained about GARs. We find Coastal Flats very consistent and still enjoy it.

Agora in Dupont. The service was always slow was the last time we went the food wasn’t good either.

Yup. Deleted the app last year. Grossed out by it now. I used to eat there at least 2x a month.

Agree - I usually get delivery or takeout and there has been very little lettuce in my salads recently, and the greens are really wet. And they get toppings wrong, once they forgot my protein.

Got carryout a few months ago at Uncle Julio's in Bethesda. Everyone had diarrhea the next day. That's it for us.

Isn't their lease running out soon? I thought they were being forced out for something new.

Omg….so much. We used to order food from there a lot. Now we try.once every 6 months hoping it returns to normal. It was never gourmet food, but was reasonably good.

We were DT regulars for years and now it’s just…mediocre at best.

That’s the one that jumps out the most, but we’ve been really disappointed with a lot of places lately. Uncle Julio’s hasn’t been good for years, but has slid into “I won’t go back” territory. A lot of the not-fancy but decent places have dramatically declined and prices are too high for what is being served at a lot of these middle of the road places.

Agree with the poster who said Haandi has slipped a lot. It’s not terrible, but it is definitely just blah.
