Thank you, PP.
To the others: you can’t shame me. This is my last kid in MCPS, we’ve paid taxes here for years, and I’m perfectly fine morally, even if subterfuge is necessary. BCC is even ranked lower than the schools we’d be moving into! I just wish to avoid a change of schools for my youngest.
I hope you go ahead with this plan and you get caught.
OP here. In that case, my child would switch schools. But I won't endure the shame and guilt you seem to desire for me. Sorry! And obviously we wouldn't be so stupid as to rent to someone who wants to put their kids at BCC. Maybe we wouldn't actually rent it out, but give it to my older child to live in (house still in our name).
That's an idea, actually. If my oldest lives in the house, and we're in and out all the time, it would simplify things. The neighbors would still see all of us (we've all been here since our kids were little - I highly doubt they'd tell on us anyway).
It’s not just a case of saying, Oops, you got me, we’ll switch now, its actually fraud. You could be fined or worse,

Anonymous wrote:You can ask for permission to stay at your home school. I think it would be up to the BCC principal to approve it.

Well, since you’ve made up your mind, why even post here? I don’t choose to live my life under a cloud of lies, you should aim for honesty as well.

I've lived all over the United States in very wealthy districts and MoCo people are, without a doubt, the worst group of folks I've ever encountered.
When ever I've found or even suspect these things I report it.

If I knew my neighbor was cheating, I would report them. This disregard for the rules hurts everyone else who is following them.
