I’m still not understanding why people are upset/offended about me asking the question but not going to worry about that.
Thanks for the helpful advice. Worst case scenario I’ll sleep with DD and DH with DS.

+1 my teens wouldn’t be comfortable sharing a bed and I wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing a bed with my adult brother.

Anonymous wrote:I think gender does matter. Teen boys have emissions sometimes at night and also morning erections. I don’t think it’s fair to make a sister deal with that — traumatizing for both of them! I’ll make my girls share a bed though. My son went on a school trip where kids were expected to share beds and he said people just slept in chairs or on the floor — none of the teen boys shared beds.

Anonymous wrote:Is this concern only about gender? Like would your two daughters be able to share a bed? I don’t see what wrong with it. Are you afraid there would be creepy weirdness?
Anonymous wrote:Two queen beds and a pull out or rollaway. How is this a hard problem to solve?
Anonymous wrote:We sometimes put them together. I’d we had two rooms they definitely sleep together.
But normally we split up DD with me and DS with DH because hotel queens tend to often feel smaller than our bed at home so it gives DH and I a bit more room.
