I read this as the op specifically asked for “authentic” Indian restaurants. The best judge of authenticity are people from the place in question or with strong ties to the place in question.

Op wants people who can vouch for the authenticity to chime in with recommendations for her. While plenty of people can offer recommendations, if you want authentic, you also want to hear from the people from India or with ties to India.

But she immediately starts with, “I don’t like the country”.

It’s basic people skills 101. Op either lacks awareness or is dumb.
