Most t30 schools fill their class ED. Why would you expect your kid to get in RD?
Where are you getting the idea my student applied RD? My student applied ED1 and was rejected. Not a single acceptance among 8 privates in our city ED (not DC) which is not typical. I think Vandy wasn’t looking to the private schools as much this year for admissions.
