Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. We have seen this in plenty of other urban, diverse school districts.
Taxpayers just continue to throw money at the schools, which never seem to improve. Remember how Zuckerberg gave something like $100 million to Newark public schools, but it didn’t make a bit of difference in outcomes.
There is simply no oversight in MCPS. Politicians in MoCo will just continue to raise taxes and funnel more money into a dysfunctional, corrupt school system.
