I could never imagine working for a spineless mayor who prioritizes suburbanites over her own residents and voters.

Where are you getting that from? She cares deeply for her residents

“She cares deeply for her residents” . . . when they are real estate developers.

Good ol’ DCUM, always ready to dig in to the accuser and her background.

You think all female accusers are honest?

Believe all women except when they accuse the wrong person.

Believe all women is as an absurd a mantra as defund the police.

+1 Seriously...no women lie?!

I dont think so. Given the lawyer the accuser has hired (same lawyer repping Christine Blasey Ford)-I think there is a lot more to come. THis lawyer would not have taken this case unless 1) there was money to be made in a damages pay out or 2) it was going to get very high profile and take down more than one man.

Arguably he thought he was working for the private sector, esp. Big Development, when he was in the Bowser administration.

I agree with you both. I think Falcicchio will be exposed for something truly egregious and likely have to pay a settlement plus never work in government again. But I also think he'll ultimately be fine, that most major players will privately back him/forgive him/not care, he'll get some private consulting gigs that pay well and the whole thing will be a footnote.

The bigger issue is whether there is any blowback on Bowser. That's harder to predict. So far interest is really low and focus has been on budget, not whatever this is. But if/when the allegations are made public, that could change. I think here's a decent chance of a private settlement and silence, though. It really depends on the nature of the wrongdoing (like whether it concerns one person or more, whether the person filing the complaint was harassed or in a relationship with Falciccio, or is filing about a hostile work environment caused by his behavior with others, etc. -- so many factors here).

I agree with you. Sadly, Dr. Blassey Ford lost.
