IU Bloomington is more liberal than JMU and Bloomington is 1000 percent more liberal than the area surrounding JMU. If that’s where you were going with that comment.



I received BS and MS degrees from IU. I admit I have never been to JMU, but IU is a great place. So much spirit, very good departments like business, music. And Midwest friendly.

I can only conclude that that poster has never been to IU. When my sibling was there, there was a literal tent city of kids camping out for world peace. For months at a time. With camp stoves. And the school was fine with it. IU is liberal!

JMU boosters trying so hard. It’s a fine school. Just not better than 1000 other schools for most people. Nice to have choices.
