For bacne spots and scarring.

Apply tret at night. As per your tolerance -
Wash with any mild benzoyl peroxide wash.
Dry
Apply aloe vera gel based moisturizer (Patanjali Kesar-chandan Soundarya gel),
Dry.
Apply 0.5% Trent,
Dry
Apply the aloe vera gel again.
Dry
Use oil of Olay moisturizer original.


Mornings and other days -
Wash with any mild benzoyl peroxide wash.
Dry
Apply aloe vera gel based moisturizer (Patanjali Kesar-chandan Soundarya gel),
Dry
Use oil of Olay moisturizer with Sunscreen.

Oh and as moisturizer, I like COSRX— it’s pricier but worth it to me— and EltaMD for sunscreen during the day. I have been through a lot of moisturizers and sunscreens and they’re either not moisturizing enough or irritate me. COSRX + EltaMD + tret is pretty much my whole routine.

I can only do the “sandwich” method (wash, moisturizer, wait, tret, wait, moisturizer)— I cannot put tret directly on my skin. I’ve been on it for 3 years, 2-3 times a week. It took about 3-4 months to adjust. I also cannot do it every day or my skin is irritated.
