They are both great schools PP and I don't think your DD can go wrong. Holton girls are well rounded but the work load will be much greater. DD has friend who left Holton for Bullis for this reason.

HUH? One is strong academics for girls; the other is not strong and co-ed. Single-sex schools are a very different experience, especially for females.


DD found them to be very different, she's a straight A student, very bright but has a lot of outside interests she wants to have energy for. She's leaning towards Bullis for this reason but likes the idea of an all girl school. DH and I are trying to keep our personal preference out of it but encouraging her to take her time and really consider both schools.

DD admitted to Madeira 9th grade day; only school she applied to. Coming from FCPS
