Commuting in this morning I had to go around and into traffic b/c two cars were blocking the bike lane. One had pulled into it to go around other traffic, cutting me off, and got oussecwgej I tapped her car and pointed to the bike lane sign. The other was an Uber driver waiting for a fare - they’re the worst. I really hope DC steps enforcement of drivers in cars entering the bike lanes.
If you touched my car or even tried to talk to me I would likely get out of my car and walk up to you with the goal of getting you arrested. You can't tap people's cars or even gesture towards them -- where the hell did you grow up. Not Boston or NY. Just slow down and wait.
Lol if you tried this with me I would put you flat on your ass in seconds. You wouldn’t be thinking about trying to have me arrested, you would be choking on blood and crying for your Mama.

Wow, tough guy. How exactly would you get the cyclist arrested?
I would cause the biker to hit me while I was running tape. Not that hard. Anyone who commutes on a bike thinks they are the savior of the world and can be goaded into striking first.
Not pp but the Boston comment is spot on. Biker would get ass kicked if they tapped cars.
Drivers are notoriously level headed. That's why road-rage is something associated with pedestrians, not drivers.

Ok, where's the damage?
Oh, there is none? Hmm, ok bye.
You will next be finding out what MPDs reaction will be when you touch the wrong persons car.
Finding out that... they don't care. Really, they don't. No damage no report.

(Usually it comes up because a car has nearly hit me)
I’ve noticed that cyclists are extremely touchy to the point of confrontationally angry if anyone touches their bike while it is parked. Why is that?

This is unhinged. You are in such a hurry that you block people’s way instead of taking a age minutes to find a legal place to park your car. But then you have time to get out of your car if someone (horrors!) touched your car or glances at you wrong. Car brain is crazy man.
Also in New York if you block pedestrians you will absolutely get your car tapped or worse. Lol at the idea that New Yorkers are going to defer to people stupid enough to drive cars in the city.
New Yorkers are worse than bike riders and Uber drivers. Maybe spend more time cleaning up your filthy disgusting city that you think is charming.
