Re: Jonathan - he couldn’t act. His parents probably forced him into it. It was painful watching him on LHOTP.




Willie Oleson was a great character.

Both Williie and Andy are showing up on my FYP constantly. Willie reconciled with Laura and some of the videos were very touching. Andy is still so handsome and goofy and friendly, telling lots of stories about past acting experiences. I wish I knew him in real life.

Child actors are of course under the guidance of their parents. It is the parents who put them into the entertainment industry. When they become adults, they choose their own career path. In the case of Jonathan Gilbert, he decided that he didn’t like acting, so he studied business in university and became a stockbroker on Wall Street. His sister Melissa continued acting as an adult.

I remember recently finding out Sean Penn's dad directed some episodes including the one with "Tinker" who makes the church bell and a young Sean is in the episode.
