I'm having a little trouble with what's so bad about this one? Why wouldn't you want him to get up and get back into the game? It's hockey, faliing/checking is part of the game, what else should he do?
Uh, the screaming part?

The kid was a really good kid and put his all into the game but was just not as athletic as the others. Jerk coach dad was so arrogant he probably thought no one saw him rolling his eyes at the poor kid - or maybe he didn't care? But we all saw, even the poor kid.
Oh gosh the horror!

Never directly to him but often just loud enough to be heard or when they were talking to their kid (e.g. don’t lose to that n-word). Her and her husband never would say anything and just told their kid to respond by playing well.
Why wouldn’t they speak up? Wtf
