Puberty blockers aren't anything to be taken lightly either. Many think the results are reversible, but that's not often the case.
Many European countries are reversing course on these medical "interventions", even progressive Sweden, Finland, Denmark...
Please find me one exame of a pre 18 year old having a double mastectomy.
Not hard to do

bottom line, if you don't want to do these things, then don't, but please don't tell other people how they should live their lives
We are talking about kids here.
What happened to parents being the ultimate authority over their kids?

Hormones and puberty blockers are not safe and shouldn't be given to children. Doctors know this, they are just choosing to look the other way in these situations.
So state legislators know better than doctors and patients?
In some cases, doctors and therapists have. been conditioned to encourage transitioning at a young age. Just as we have age requirements for so many things, it makes sense to wait on these types of treatments. I would never fully trust any medical professional which is why we get second opinions and advocate for our own care. And humans have proven time and time again that they don't always know what's beat. Sometimes you just have to save people from themselves. Waiting on such a huge decision makes perfect sense.

So, no problem blocking it if it doesn’t happen. (You have your head in the sand and are willfully ignoring many such cases, but that’s fine if you agree it shouldn’t happen.)
Example please.

It's not a double mastectomy. It's a breast reduction. They don't remove all the breast tissue. Learn what you're talking about before you start spouting off medical terms. It's like when people talk about a heartbeat being detected in a fetus that hasn't developed a heart yet.
