+1000. The children need a parent.
Exactly. I have wonderful memories of helping my mom sort laundry into colors, grocery shopping, etc. My mom subtly made these educational activities. I told my mom all our life what those memories meant to me. She passed recently, and those memories are more vibrant than ever. She worked too, but time with her kids took equal importance. We outsourced nothing. We all learned to cook and do yard work together. It's called *family activities.*
What part of parenting is the OP doing?

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:You need a mothers helper and or household manager(driving to and from activities, meal prep and laundry) I hired a lady that comes to our house from
2-7PM (25 hours a week at $30 hourly plus mileage reimbursement, 5 days PTO and holidays paid.)
A mother's helper will be younger than OP's kids.

Our kids are tweens/teens and we mainly need someone to get them to and from school, drive to activities, cook and do laundry for the family.
We've had aupairs, liveins, live outs and it seems that the kids are older now and mainly need driving but we also need household help.
