I know of two families whose kids were not permitted to remain at Maury, now Brooks, after an older sibling graduated. They were sent to their zoned schools. If they had been in a higher grade when their sibling graduated, they would have been permitted to remain.
We must know each other because we were there during the transition as well, but all the trailing sibs I know were permitted to stay, even without the sibling.
Maybe there were different factors in your case? I don't know but the trasfers never stopped.
