He has struggled with his weight for the last several years (50lbs gained over the last 25 years) never making it longer than one week on a "diet". And by "diet" I mean just cutting back, making better choices, and regular exercise. He had his annual physical exactly one month ago, and he was devastated by the results but not surprised. High BP, high cholesterol, fatty liver, borderline diabetes, and of course the scale didn't lie. That is all he needed for his wake up call - and I'm so happy and relieved.

The changes he's made:
1) zero snacking, especially after dinner with his back and forth trips to the kitchen
2) cut way back on carbs. He's eating mostly eggs for breakfast, salads with chicken for lunch and a small portion of nuts. and dinner is another protein with a side of veggies.
3) upped his water intake by quite a bit
4) finally started using the Peloton I bought him a year ago - he is on it every day now!

Anyhow just wanted to brag a little, and say how proud I am of him

Just say it to him. I don't know how posting this helps anyone else
