Where are the children?

Lately I've been in a mindspace where I need to read something light but good. I've been rereading all of the Mary Balogh series. Slightly, Survivor, and now the Westcotts. The characters and stories are so good for historical romances.

To the PPs that mentioned Persuasion and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, thank you! Those are books I used to love and have not reread in a long time. Adding to the list!

It's not a masterpiece, really, but Brightness Falls by Jay McInerney is one of my favorites and I have read it many times.

I read Persuasion about once every two years.

I’m currently rereading all the Sarah J Mass books so I can refresh my mind for the crossover.

I’ve read Patrick Rothfuss’s two Kingkiller Chronicle books twice, but I’m holding off on another read until there’s an actual third book release date. Patiently holding my breath.

I read Brent Weeks’ Lightbringer series twice. That one is complicated enough that reading them back to back makes a difference.
