My principal, a male, said the same thing. He also has a reputation as a bully and will blacklist anyone that doesn’t worship him.

Is this a W middle?

No. A well regarded MS in another part of the county where the teachers are afraid to file formal complaints because the principal has been allowed to do whatever he wants for so long.

What are the complaints? If the school is good, aren't teachers usually happy?

If it s the MS start with T ?( they had a meeting on this date and new principal ) If teachers will start to leave this school , it will be even worse than the situation today. Parents must wake up and act.

Not required but most principals I know prefer the heads up so they are not surprised by a call for a recommendation.

No, it is not required. However, on Monday, our principal said that she expected to be told since she would let principals who called her know she had not been informed. She seemed to think this was being sneaky. the truth is that people often interview casually because they want to know their options.

Do you mean SH?

I think you mean LS.

Not surprising.

is LS retiring??

It’s her first year and I don’t know why they assigned her to a magnet school when she doesn’t have experience working in that background.

Different LS that is also associated with SH

During a staff meeting today, the principal repeatedly told staff members to come to her if we didn't want to stick around and we could be "involuntarily transferred". This is her first year at the school and she isn't popular at all. I was wondering if it looks better for her, if teachers are involuntarily transferred rather than resign their position at the school?

Sounds like a question for the union shop steward.

Our school has several union reps. They are leaving over working conditions.
