Barbados. Nonstop from IAD on United. Try the South Coast or West Coast beaches. Beautiful, small country, great food. The most amazing beaches.

We take the smaller shared charter ferry. Didn’t love the public ferry (prefer open air and not a enclosed) but it’s only 20min.
Idk what AXA but if we are still talking about St John - I also preferred the smaller ferry and would try to take that one again if possible.

I really love Puerto Rico. It’s not the nicest/fanciest place you could go in the Caribbean but it’s just one of those places that feels good to be in.
Agreed. Despite the fact that the U.S. government has mistreated them for over 100 years, Puerto Rican people are amazingly proud to be who they are.

It’s fine but we usually only spend a night or two when going to Anguilla or St Barths. SXM is too busy for us on the Dutch side. And rather just go to St Barths in lieu of the French side. I find that due to the number of non stop flights and low cost carriers to SXM, that you get a really diverse group of visitors and there is something for everyone. Kind of Aruba like when it comes to amenities and easy access.
We like how quiet Anguilla and St Barths are in comparison. Less cruise ships and timeshares etc
