I met him once in a strip club when he was filming The Babe.

Such a great show. There are only 2 seasons right now? Any idea when more will be out?

I looked it up recently. Season 3 will be out this year, maybe in the summer? I read that Kristen Johnson is joining the cast.

I know nothing about Goodman's personal life; maybe he's one of those rare actors who wants to just do great work and keep his life private. More power to him.

Argo won three Oscars including Best Picture. Ben Affleck did that.

I'm the PP you're responding to and I totally agree that it's a great movie. Of the many pandemic movies we watched with our kids (HS and college), that was one of our favorites. My comment re Affleck is simply a recognition that many people seem to think he's a jerk in his personal life. I don't really follow much celebrity "news", so I have no idea if that's true. I wonder, though, why he hasn't made more movies. Is it just that this was the one story he could tell?

I met him/worked with him on a project. He is as down to earth and approachable as you think he would be. I was surprised to see (at that time) that he was a smoker, though.

He probably had gastric bypass or sleeve.

I believe that he has been open about his struggles with alcoholism. He seems to be doing well and with sobriety also lost the weight. Hopefully his story can help others who struggle with alcohol.

omg yes, it's a must watch

That made me cry. Laurie Metcalf is amazing.

She is amazing. The funniest character on the show imo.

I watched Big Bang Theory for most of the seasons, and loved her as Sheldon's mom. Eventually I started watching Young Sheldon streaming, here and there. I was like WOW the woman who plays Sheldon's mom REALLY has Laurie Metcalf's subtleties down in her mannerisms and facial expressions. Took me a long time to learn that actress is Laurie Metcalf's daughter.

I just love the odd crossover casting amongst those 3 shows.

I liked him in 'Finding Llweyn Davis', and his small yet tragic role in 'Treme' as Melissa Leo's husband. His range is incredible.

Such a great show. I'm re-watching East Bound and Down right now.
