It's a tease, I just want to see that "4" number i.e. 149!!
Maybe I'll try to go low(er) calories today and see if that does the trick.
I wrote this in another thread (I think) but if you are stuck on a plateau....
I read that plateaus are often caused by your body sort of shutting down - calorie restricting means you have less energy and you exercise/move less and you get stuck at your current weight. And, you can't really call it a plateau unless it's stuck for 10-14 days.
I was stuck around 155 (I'm 5'7, so not trying to be anorexic here, my goal weight is 140). I actually added breakfast back - usually I skip it if I can - but continued to eat overall within my weight watchers daily point level. I made sure to work out every day and busted through the plateau - a week ago I was 154.5 and today I am 151.5. I weigh myself every day which allows me to see the trend, and not get freaked out if one day I put on a pound or whatever. Now I'm cutting out breakfast again and slightly decreasing my food intake, while keeping the exercise stable. Also hoping to see that "4" number on the scale soon!
So....I don't know, it's anecdotal. In the past I've tried to break through plateaus by eating less and less, it doesn't work, and I get super frustrated and fall off the wagon. This way seems better so far! Fingers crossed.
Hi weight loss twin! I'm also 5'7" trying to get to 140. 151.6 as of this morning. Also really hoping to see the 140s soon!
PP here. 150.8 this morning. Hoping for 149 point something by the end of the week...we'll see.
Best wishes for us 149ers

Thanks. Yes fingers crossed. Just from observing how my body reacts I think I might break through by tomorrow morning - as long as I don't do something stupid like eat a bowl of ice cream and/or cookies tonight.
I plan to go the gym, just for 20 mins or so this evening as well. A walk would do the trick a well but I like the strength machines at the gym.
Update...already! I've been eating light today - and I broke through already - weigh 149 point something now! Finally!
I am feeling a little hungry. Scared to feed the hunger now though!!
Congratulations!! Can't wait to see those 140-somethings myself.
