Costco or Target are cheaper than regular grocery stores (for cereal)

What is this unpopular cereal you are devoted to? I don’t wanna be missing out. Cereal is very expensive right now. I love cereal and can’t be trusted around it.

Is it cracklin oat bran

A bowl full of cookies and milk! (I love Cracklin' Oat Bran -- thank you, 1980s obsession with oat bran -- but it's dessert, which I also love)

As far as desserts go, it’s not too shabby. 34 g net carbs (42 if you have it with whole milk), 15 g added sugar, 7 g fiber, 4 g protein; you could do worse.

But is that the cereal the pp was talking about, or was it something really off kilter like Weetabix or unsweetened shredded wheat? Maybe puffed rice? Or maybe the PP really likes something like Honey Smacks or whatever they’re called nowadays (I can’t have them in the house; like the other pp I will destroy that box).

But seriously, OP, stop buying cereal. It’s not particularly healthy anyway.

Never buy cereal full price. I learned this decades ago.

Lol same, but my kid’s still here so it’s all oatmeal unless he goes to the store with me.

I buy double boxes at Sam's Club and send it to my son and some to my sister.
Costs are $6 to $8 depending on what you want.
Buy the little snack cereal for my granddaughter. 16 per pack for $6 each. I bought 2.
Regular bran flakes are hard to find. Like raisin brand without the raisins. I found some a few weeks back and bought 3.
Long shelf life unopened. Rubbermaid cereal keepers make cereal stay fresh once opened. The keepers are still cheap to buy.
Rice Krispies are hard to find. The malt o meal crispie rice is just as good as the brand name. $5.48 for a HUGE bag.
I love rice Krispies and bananas.
All of this was predicted last spring. Shortages, price hikes, shrinking amounts.
Same for all oatmeal, cream of wheat, grits. Any hot cereals.
Buy what you can afford now because the prices and availability will soon be a big problem.
Or don't. It's up to you.

If it's not on sale, you are right. But cereal is always on sale at one of the groceries stores so stock up.

Almost guarantee that this would result in a far higher per bowl cost than buying it haha.

Most cereal is pretty unhealthy. Healthier and less expensive to eat two eggs and some spinach and apple or slice of toast.
