Agree, but get a few colorful tasty veggies on the top. We use yellow, red, and orange bell peppers, with red onion.
IME, a cut tomato is a mess and broccoli is somewhat blah. Get the red from red bell peppers.

This is way too much work and doesn't sound like it tastes good. Who wants to dip their veggies in cream cheese?
Also, raw broccoli is vile.
Yes, I've had this appetizer before, and it's not very exciting. It makes me think of early 2000s Pampered Chef parties.
