I was thinking that so much of it was monochromatic. Then I got to the rooms with color and I disliked them even more. This house looks like it was designed by teenagers who kept saying, “You know what would be cool?” and then threw everything they thought of in there. “Our house is going to be SICK!”

It had such potential--gorgeous exterior, good bones--but the interior design ruins it.

How many houses had Maria seen when she made these decisions? She'd really never laid eyes on a faux Tuscan special? Where did she think her cabinets came from? And does she know what "authentic" means?

So many questions. Perhaps we can find the answer in the house's library, which houses the family's lovingly collected and read books.

I am sure it is temperature controlled no matter how much use it gets.
