Only 5% on our block goes to private, but probably more like 10-20% in the overall neighborhood. Affluent Arlington neighborhood.

By High school: 2 SJC, 2 Gonzaga, 1 visitation, 1 GDS, 2 Cathedral schools, 2 Jackson Reed, 1 St Anselms, 1 GDS

+1. We live walking distance to Whitman, and 40-50% at parochial or independent schools is about right for our neighborhood.

Of families with school age children that I know, probably 75% are/were attending private.
