My 5’5” husband is the smartest nicest guy you’d ever meet. Never, ever have I thought about his height. With the kindest of intentions, could there be other reasons you are not connecting with women?

No, no, no… Too many cultural differences and will end up a hot mess. I have seen it too many times and the ending is always the same.

My brother's 5'5" and is married now to a.really lovely lady. He had a couple serious girlfriends before her that we met.

But if I were dating again other characteristics of who someone is are more important and I'd be open to someone shorter. Tom Holland and Zendaya. The Weeknd and Bella Hadid. Look at Zelenskyy who is 5'7!

Adding , I agree with all the advice to put yourself out there more in person. Even if you prefer to stay home. Trivia nights, alumni events, softball kickball leagues, religious organizations, etc...

Uh. You should start with a therapist, not an “international dating” site. You need to examine your clearly pathological belief that you are owed attention from women which you are being denied. Misogyny is a bigger turnoff than being short.

Those Russian girls are survivors, they will figure out your weakness, exploit it and then all of a sudden two generations of mole covered women will be living in your hovel, a few years will go by and they’ll be cashing in your life insurance.

Stick with someone close to home, but love of your life likely lives within a mile of where you stand right now, go overseas or anywhere further than where you are and you are sealing your own death warrant.

As another foreigner, you need to get over yourself. This is not about you.

People are being told on here everyday to broaden their dating pool in order to find love and companionship: include " boring men", include older men, etc.
Having a chance to come here is an attractive opportunity to some foreigners.

OP is trying to broaden his pool. One PP rightly called him out for being a hypocrite because he was looking for appearance while feeling frustrated that he thought his appearance was holding him back. However, aren't we all shallow?

And yes, some foreigners are willing to overlook certain things to settle here. There is nothing wrong with that. Some men are willing to overlook certain things for a pretty woman. The OP would have to overlook certain things for his foreigner wife as well. This is life.
