Listening isn't an achievement. It's the most basic thing he should be doing.

And while he did stand up to Hutchings on that one thing...he promptly followed Hutchings directions. And is still following it.

After his big talk about not being censored...he hasn't once spoken out of line with ACPS.

It absolutely sounds like he deserves some credit on the metal detector vote but let's not pretend that after declaring that he wouldn't be censored...he censored himself. Booze did the same exact thing.

It's such a low bar in Alexandria, isn't it? A school board member gets commended for doing his most basic job.

That's great that Elnoubi responds even though you aren't his constituent.

What has he done? What has he achieved in his time on the board? Someone up the thread said that he really represents his community well but couldn't offer any specifics.

He is responsive to his constituents and constiuents in other districts (I'm one of them) who have SB members that don't respond. I have very different politics that Elnoubi and I've had very positive interactions with him. He is willing to listen and hear others' perspectives.
