Short, size 8, I have very slight mom pooch, boobs are 38 DD and need to figure out how to accommodate them. My first dress was strapless fitted Vera Wang and long. It was flattering.
Are you in the D.C. area? I am 5'3" and have a similar build to you and was getting ready to sell my dress. I had a small lunchtime wedding without dancing so it's basically brand new (no sweating, no spills).

A courthouse marriage with a lunch reception is going to be different attire than if you are making it like a first wedding with 150 people+ and a big aisle and reception.
Is it evening ceremony, late morning, early afternoon, etc?
