If my DD wanted to give up the baby for adoption I’d do everything in my power to ensure the baby was adopted by us or another family member. I would prefer she abort though.

To me, what pro choice means is that the only person making the decision what happens to her body is the woman in question who is pregnant. She makes the choice. That's what pro choice means.

It doesn't mean that I would have no opinions what my own daughter decided. Of course I'd have my own opinion what she should do in most circumstances! But I'm not the one who has to go the pregnancy, she is.. so she has the ultimate say.


That doesn't mean if she decided to have and keep the baby, it means I'd support her/them financially.

Actually, many adoptions these days are open. The birth grandparents still get to stay in contact sometimes.

Ok, pp here. I was wrong. 20 is different. Let’s say 8 weeks. And MAGA still want to make that illegal. There is NO HEARTBEAT at 8 weeks. I’m still pro choice at 20 weeks and beyond if a Dr. deems necessary. If you don’t like abortion, don’t have one.

OP please come back and explain what your thinking is by posting this question. It seems you posed it as a gotcha but no one is answering it the way you’d hoped.
