^^Clearly someone who has no idea what this major entails. NSFA is not a "technical" degree, and most pair it with a relevant major, often an in-demand language (Russian, Arabic, etc.). If you want to talk trendy majors, look no further than CS.

There's nothing idiotic about OPINING about the value of a SAIS degree when quite a few senior individuals in the IC have studied at SAIS. That doesn't mean the opinion is 100% valid or accepted by everyone - you obviously don't, and that's fine.
